Avocado oil is probably the healthiest oil to use.

I have one of those air-driven popcorn makers. No oil needed.

I wouldn’t use it myself, and I rarely eat popcorn, but I’d guess beef tallow, just because many like beef flavor.

People probably liked the bacon, I don't eat pork though

i might have said clarified butter, if you'd said you'd cooked it to the point of browning the dairy solids before straining, but beef tallow might have won anyway. i chose beef tallow

I like using coconut oil for popcorn. But it may not be as flavorful as the beef tallow or bacon grease.

Bacon grease sounds horrible but I'll bet it was tasty.
