@BizSuitStacy Ribs ( no bone- I prefer bone in country style) Dry rub them. Wrap in foil, and bake at 365F for about 45 minutes. Remove, drain off fat. Return them to the foil, now open. I up temp to 400f and start brushing on a bbq sauce

Have never tried your technique.
We boil the hot dog first and then sear on a grill or a cast-iron frying pan.

@DavidT8899 And are you going to give us a review
DavidT8899 · 22-25, M
@funloving1 If you wish.In fact,I followed your intention and pan fried them after boiling them in the beer.(As far as Im concerned,any self-respecting hot dog MUST have some kind of sear mark.)The results were perfectly fine although not overwhelming.Maybe,I just didnt boil them long enough,but it seemed like I would've gotten the same hot dog if I would have simply fried them.

I like grilling 'em. Boiled in beer sounds interesting.

@soar2newhighs I tend to use marinades with cuts like a tri tip, hanger, flank, etc. With cuts like ribeye or NY, I use salt and pepper, or maybe a dry rub.
@BizSuitStacy Tthis is about a third of a flatiron steak.
S&P

@soar2newhighs That looks great!
It can’t hurt. Aren’t some types of brats cooked in beer. It possibly impart flavor to the hot dogs.

I've never cooked them that way. Usually I grill them so they have lovely grill marks.

I can't say I've ever tried that. I like them grilled best

That just sounds gross. I’d rather grill them. So much better.
