:) this looks like when someone sleeps in and wakes up at 11 or 11:30; then after 2 or 3 cups of coffee and a visit to FaceBook, starts fixing something for breakfast, and halfway through that, gets around to looking at the clock and realizes it 2:30 in the afternoon; then makes a command decision to jump ahead to dinner instead; and after 2 or 3 minutes of scrounging around in the refrigerator suddenly discovered leftover chicken and veggies from the night before that gained fame and applause for the way they went with mashed potatoes. So, everyone likes mashed potatoes, everyone likes waffles. So why not.
I think this is how gumbo was discovered.
