I Love Tattoos and Piercings

My roommate is getting a new tattoo today. I’m so jealous because I’ve always wanted to get one but I just can’t figure out what I want and tattoos are something you need to be 100% sure on. I want to get tattoos and more piercings. I have a couple of piercings already and I was dead-set on getting my nose done a while ago but that ended up being another thing I wasn’t 100% on. Sure I can just take it out if I don’t like it but also, why go through the trouble of getting it if I end up not liking it? A whole bunch of big life decisions for me, lol. But I’m sure I’ll end up getting tattoos as well more piercings someday.

Everyone has to start somewhere when it comes to selecting a tattoo. I have eleven and will continue to add. Selecting and visiting a shop will provide you with a multitude of tattoo ideas. Once you get an idea what you want, the artist can work with you to design the perfect image just for you. Keep in mind every tattoo does not have to contain some profound meaning but just an image you will like to with you always.

Piercings have always been a part of my life. My ears were pierced since I was an infant and I added multiples to my ears throughout the years. I got my nostril pierced in my teens and my navel in my twenties. I just love them and don't think of them as a big deal just a nice touch.

I've never felt anyone should deny themselves anything they want because of apprehension or concern of others opinions. These are my feeling and they have allowed me to enjoy tattoos and piercings. Possibly they can have the same effect on you.
@CM440 Thanks for your comprehensive comment! That’s actually a good idea, going to a tattoo shop and working with an artist to figure out what I might want. My roommate gets tattoos that don’t have any big meaning to them other than she likes them, lol. But I feel that for me personally, that might make me regret not getting one that’s meaningful later in life.

I have my ears and belly button done too. Though you could say those have some significant meaning to me as well. I think my issue with getting another is that I’d like for a piercing to have some significance to me too but don’t know if anything else will fit the bill quite the two I already have.

It’s complicated but you’re right, overall you just have to like what you get. Thanks for all of your insight! This is all great advice that I will try putting to use. 🙂

Definitely be as selective as you want and take all the time you want for a tattoo
It’s quite okay to be picky
