Are these outfits more 80s or 90s?

We wore this to an '80s party at our local bar and I'm thinking it's kind of more late '80s maybe early 90s. He was kind of going for Rico suave LMAO, how do you think we did? I want to hear from you all that actually lived in the '80s.
