Do feet get bigger as we age?

I ordered shoes online and of course they didn't fit. Returned them and got a size up, still didn't fit.

I thought something was off, so I looked at the sizes of the shoes I currently wear and realized that I have been wearing a bigger size (that fits) over the last few years 馃

[c=004A59]Where were they made? I found a few years ago that shoes I purchased which had been made in Italy were .5 size smaller than expected. All other shoes fit the same as ever. I've never heard that feet changed size, unless of course, you experience swelling of the feet and ankles.[/c]

[@1217106,Vampyr] well I haven't been pregnant either. Other women have stated theirs have gotten bigger as well.

[@1217106,Vampyr] I'd prefer them not get bigger. Especially since I am begginning to invest in more expensive shoes. They are not fashionable but they are more comfty ones.

Mine sure did. I wore a size 7-7 1/2 when I graduated from high school and now I wear a size 9 1/2鈥

[@1217106,Vampyr] I stopped growing in height by the time I was 15.
[@16806,cherokeepatti] [c=004A59]Isn't that kind of young? I stopped growing in height at 18.[/c]

[@1217106,Vampyr] I don鈥檛 know if it was young or not for a woman.
