No! See, most my life I was unable to grow my hair. I wanted it long. I saw the other girls at school and their pretty hair. Mom loved the 'PIXIE'. I wanted my hair to be long till one day, I got up the nerve and told her. My head my scalp, my hair. She was sad with my decision. I was joyous. There has been a bit of 'trimming' but for the most part, it has remained just passed my waste. Others don't like it? Too bad. This is MY head so leave me alone!
Perhaps it is due to the current styles. I am after all 66yrs. But..I wash it, I comb out the tangles. I keep it clean, and self color away the grey. Cannot even donate it. (they don't take hair if it's been dyed or colored.)
You might say, my hair is my vanity. You may be correct. I am very pleased with my hair. It is ME, and it is MINE!
