If a conjoined twin committed a crime but the other twin was innocent

How would the jail sentence work? Do they both gotta go to jail even though one is innocent? Is the other twin treated as an accomplice since they were probably there when the crime was committed? 🤔 Like "OUR hand stabbed that guy so technically WE committed this crime"

My lady just asked me this question & it sparked an interesting conversation. So I thought it'd make an interesting thought here... or a weird one. But that's SW's theme so hey 🙃

Depends on how much is one dependant on the other. There's various degrees of being conjoined.

At some point they would be separated.

@DeWayfarer I assume the main thing would be them having different minds & consciousness because then it'd be possible to have differing views 🤔 but being conjoined would mean the both can & can't really stop the other one.. depending on the degree of conjoined-ness (I know that's not a word I didn't know what to say lol)

@ChiefJustWalks When in doubt reword: "depending on the degree of being(how they are) conjoined".

Conjoined twins however don't necessarily have control of all the body parts. One is usually more dominant. That is my meaning. Of course, the dominant one would have to be the one committing the crime.
