On this Father's day my heart goes out to all the Dads that had fatherhood stolen from them.

In America it is a serious pandemic that gets swept under a rug.

I didn't realize that you had lost a son to it. I am really, really sorry for your loss.

I lost a niece and a nephew by marriage. My niece was a beautiful young woman with two little babies. She had long wild curly blonde hair and always reminded me of an angel...but she became addicted to cocaine...and then the dealers upped the price for cocaine and started selling $10 heroin...and that was the end of her. Her parents put her in rehab and she hooked up with another druggie there. They escaped, went to his place to get high, and she OD'd.

At her funeral her lips were blue. Her mother had refused to allow them to put make up on her. And then she cried, and said she had wondered whether or not to dress her dead daughter in a sweater...because she was worried she might be cold. 😢

My nephew was a stupid a$$, and started mouthing off to the drug dealer from whom he was trying to buy drugs, and dealer turned around and shot him.

I listened to a black man in New York City being interviewed for Fox News the other day, and he absolutely 100% was in complete denial about the psychotic and schizophrenic effects of the new stronger levels of THC in the new legal marijuana. It's so strong that it is CAUSING mental problems in young kids that it has never caused in the past.

He also said that he felt that ALL drugs should be legalized.

It's amazing how MANY people feel that way.

It's amazing that there are that many blind stupid people divorced from all reality.

@checkoutanytime That is absolutely horrible. And she raised your son in that environment. My former sister in law and brother-in-law regularly drank in front of their children and allowed their teenage children to drink WITH them. My former sister-in-law, (not my former brother-in-law), was also such a pot head that she could not go one day without it. She lived for the high. I think she passed that on to all her children.
@4meAndyou i admit i drink now more than ever, but i dont drink infront of my daughters.

@checkoutanytime My former sister in law couldn't hide it. She was always messed up and she wasn't fooling anyone by smoking in her bedroom. She could barely talk, at times. And if she drank she got vicious.

Her worst mistake was saying that she would rather let her kids stay at home and drink with them, rather than go out in a car and get drunk. She was training them and enabling them.

Could you addressing the fentanyl epidemic supported by the open borders policy of the current idiot at 1600?
Big Pharmaceutical have flooded communities with oppiates my entire adult life. I dont believe thats the root cause. Drugs are used by women and men. @carpediem
