As I mentioned previously, my wife and I took a course on this considering foster care and then backed out 'cause we were not ready for it.

But I think you are. You and your husband are tough as shit. This will take time though.

@CountScrofula 馃樁 My husband was telling me about similar things in the states. He thinks just because his mum is white, that he didn't get taken away from her. His dad was Native American

@V00doo Yeah it's the same politics. To this day we see huge racial disparity in families losing children and shit like forced sterilizations of Indigenous women at hospitals.

There's a lot of very cruel history but the present day is only marginally improved.

@CountScrofula Our laws on that can be pretty fucked here but I wouldn't have been able to get these kids without tribal involvement because of my health issues. It worked out for us.
