I don't think my mum's gonna let me spend money on a manicure and acrylics

But I'm so depressed. The only other thing I have is cigarettes but I'll have to leave the house to smoke and my mum will not let me go out alone, she'll go everywhere I go so I can't smoke either. How tf do I feel better.

It's so sad. Suffering for the anxiety of other person is painful.
Why not try & get a job - then you can set aside a little bit for your desires.
Don't lose heart - you will get over this. 馃挅馃挏

Why won't she let you ?

@MURD3RM0NK3Y We're poor. She saves everything we earn so we can invest it later. Plus because of her ptsd she fears spending anything more than the bare minimum like bread and eggs and basic stuff for home cooked meals. Because of her ptsd she's also a hoarder. It's so messed up. I've never experienced a normal life. I'm the total opposite because of her miserly habits. I am an impulse spender. Saving makes me anxious. Spending makes her anxious. Together we're both chaos and dysfunction. I've really curbed my habits and spend more wisely but a girl deserves to get a manicure twice a month. I don't even use any skin care or makeup. Just let me get a manicure once in a while please.
