Miss my Dad 💔💔💔

Who ever still has their dad's around, please cherish these moments as it will be very difficult when they become a memory
Thank you for the important reminder. My dad provided my brothers and I with so many great memories. Not only his compassion and empathy but the wonderful adventures he took us on as kids, I remember being out in the middle of nowhere and seeing an old abandoned looking road and asking, "Gee wonder where that road goes to"? and he would shrug and say, "I have no idea let's find out" and off we would go, an old mine shaft or other settlement of another time. A time of mystery and un-told stories. My dad was always willing to share any adventures we wanted to. RIP Clancy.
@Grateful4you same here 😊
We know that the are watching over us.

My Mum is everything for me and now more than ever her importance has increased multifold
@SilentKiller Glad to know you still have your mom and express your gratitude for her. I only (Might) have an older living sister just have no clue what part of Oregon. My younger living brother pretty much disowned me because I'm not Christian enough and he only recognizes his Christian family. For me t these days, "family" are where I find them and have nothing to do with blood relatives. Many folks here are my "family" now.
@Grateful4you you should try to get into contact with your sister

@SilentKiller i work in an hospital and we where having basic life support training in the old intensive care one day this week . my dad was in there for a while and the bed we where going to do the training was in the room he was in . i was getting a little upset about it and asked could the bed be moved from that room . it is eight years since he passed but you are right it does never go

I'm sorry. You are so young, to have had to experience the grief of such a loss.

I did cherish my dad, and my time with him. It's going on 3 years of me missing him, now. I know that I always will.
@Piper hi there
Appreciate it

Sorry for your loss also. Mine was a bit sudden due to covid. So we had no idea and it was first time we had a covid situation so everything was new and hurtful at the same time

@SilentKiller Thank you. I did lose my mother recently, and she was the only parent I had, so I know what's it like to miss someone who will never be back.
@BittersweetPotato o my goodness. I'm so very sorry for your loss. I can't even imagine how you feel or what u went through ❤️
IMO a father’s legacy will be and is what he has given to his children that will guide them through life whether he is still here or has passed.
@soar2newhighs perfectly said
