I Think Kids Say the Cutest Things

I'm in the middle of making a pattern right now (having to sit down every few minutes due to the pain), and this dad walks in with his daughter. She's about 8. They can see that I draw my patters on light brown kraft paper. I use a pencil, a straight edge, and measuring tape. When I want to change something on the pattern, I'll grab a red pencil. If I want to changed that same spot again, I will use a blue pencil. This pattern that I'm working on now is a bit difficult. The customer is 6'7" 170 lbs, so he doesn't have a lot of meat on him.

This little girl comes in, sees what I'm doing, picks up the colored pencils, and she very adamantly says, "Now you just draw the pattern and I'll take care of the coloring."


What makes it even funnier is that his wetsuit will be all black.
