Can you always keep your clothes from growing smelly while getting them dry?

My dryer doesn't really work and I thought of either buying a new one or using washing perfume.

do you hang your clothes to dry or something? they wont get smelly if you leave enough space between the hangers

@Penny how much space is enough then?
Penny · 46-50, F
@scooogy few inches approximately like 3 or 4 id say (minimum 3, maybe 4) i'd experiment until you get the right width. also, if your washer allows you can set it for an extra spin so they dry faster

@Penny Thanks :) Seems like I need something bigger then

@scooogy if you dont have enough room in your closet, i've used an indoor clothesline before. i know a guy who used to hang them around his place wherever he could, like on curtain rods, shower rods... its nice in the winter too cause it boosts the hhumidity in the room

@Penny boosts the humidity? for what purpose?

@scooogy like when the heat is on and the air gets dry. some people hang their clothes on a rod over their washer and dryer. dont know if you have space there
