Divorce, almost 19 years ago, saved the leftovers of my mental health.

i wish i had realized that years ago after staying in a marriage for 14 years and doing my best to love her.. I finally found out too late that she never loved me and that she was lying to me the whole time. she only married me because she was insecure.. pathologically.. you are smart.. don't stay with someone who doesnt love and adore you..

My family was like that too when I announced mine. Two years later and they are going to be on a bowling league with my new bf and only talk to my ex when it deals with my child.

I'm glad you feel you did the right thing. You must be financially independent and happy like that

Better to do it while you still have a life to live

Glad to hear you are free from that. I can't imagine being married to someone who did want or love me. Sounds like a horrible way to live.

Glad you have made the decision to move on it can be a stressful time and very painful , but in the long run if it works for you and a new chapter in your life opens its door to grasp with both hands can only wish you happy and successful times ahead
