I Love My Daughters

I have three children who are all girls. They’re grown now and out on their own and have tested my patience when younger and still do at times. But I couldn’t be prouder of them and even though time has flown by I’ve enjoyed every minute of it with them.

I am the same way
I have 3 grown girls who have kids now on their own ,,only 2 girl to go who still have to graduate ,and my Grandson ,who we held back a year ,
I know that has to be hard ,18 but still in school ,still having to submit to all the same rules as a teen (he is wise ,he knows a good thing )
But 4 teens in todays world ,I am thankful we raised them right
I was blessed to have a part in that
I have a son who is 10 ,,I hate the world he is growing up in
but he is wise beyond his years ,I am a very blessed man
I could not imagine a world without my kids
Getting by without a wife is not so tough
My girls don't tell me how to dress ,and they don't ask why I took this route
I am Dad ,they know there is a reason ,unlike a wife ,they don't ask LOL
(That was a joke ,sort of ) they make life worth living
Now they want me to have a mate ,,but they know with my religious convictions
a mate would need to be on the exact same page ,,
we are as a family (and God did that not me,my kids have always had a choice ,I lead by example ,no religion was ever forced on them by me )
I am done with women trying to change me ,
My kids keep me in check as to who I am and the family I lead
They are all I need ,,well unless the Boss has other plans
When scripture says "He will give you your hearts desires "
I wanted my ex back ,the Lord knew my kids was more along the lines of what I actually needed ,( my girls were taken and hid from me 12 yrs )
They thank me now for being there and raising them ,saving them from the life they were in .
We actually raised each other ,they made a better man out of me
They are not the only ones that were saved

@Sueisright I'll have you know for some women ,that is a very desirable thing ,
But there is religion ,and there is serving God ,2 very different things
my desire to please God makes me a very tender hearted man
Caring and giving ,slow to anger quick to forgive
Not the all hell and brimstone I would assume you imagine
Christ wants us to show His character of love in ours
And many woman would love a Godly man
But ,there are a few area's they have been mislead
So though they might want me ,I am not debating my faith ,nor changing
I was once where they are ,no desire to go back
Some things are not debatable ,some have been taught they are
So they make very good friends ,not my next wife
If most woman knew how God wanted their husbands to treat them
"leaving his Father and his Mother ,,forsaking all others ,clinging only to his wife ,to lay down his life for her as Christ did the church "
yea I am sure someone can make something terrible out of that
