Yes, my niece and her wife (who I also call my niece, and she calls me uncle).....they had a sperm doner, my niece carried the babies and they now have twins.

I don’t know anyone personally whose done it, and you can’t get money for sperm in Australia, it’s illegal. I think donating sperm is very traumatising for the resulting child I’ve read on it, and they really long for their father.

Yes, my niece has a female partner, they bought sperm over the Internet from a bank. I also have a lesbian friend who has two babies with her partner with some help from a male friend as known donor. Seems to work out just fine for all.
