It is weird

It’s weird because my family is very different since my childhood. I grew up terrified, quiet, hidden away from violence. I grew up starving, struggling to get through school it’s all I could think about. Other stuff I won’t mention. But I’m an adult. My family has changed. And I don’t know how to forget those things.

@YoMomma you know it’s weird because I remember the mom I grew up with and I don’t even like thinking about it but she pours her soul into the dogs. And it’s so confusing for me now when I remember. I am happy she is that way. I’m just confused.

Sometimes people dont know how to talk to each other and its just easier to pat a dog on the head? Idk 😳
