Is it weird that I just want to be alone?

I go to my moms house and i'm anxious to leave immediately.

I dont visit my sisters anymore.

I even stay away from home.

What am i chasing? I dont understand.

You are chasing yourself.

I think this is the simplest way of putting it..

You dont want to be alone you just dont want to be around people that you have to put a face on for. You could be in a crowd of people and feel alone. And u can want to be alone with someone that makes u feel comfortable

Being alone and not being lonely is being at peace with oneself . The crowd can dry up your energy.

It seems like you are not chasing, but running away. If you want to be alone though, just be that way and cut out the guilt over it.

@MarkPaul it feels more like im chasing something. Like theres something more for me somewhere else. I dont know what it is.

I dont want to be alone either. Which is crazy that i feel like this. When im alone i feel empty.

@Venturist Let's summarize:

1. You don't want to be alone, but when you are with others (in your family), you leave.
2. You feel like you are chasing something, but when you are with others you literally run away.
3. You think the grass is greener on the other side, but instead of going there, you retreat into a solitary place.

You are not chasing; you are running. We often feel empty when we are not able to acknowledge what we are actually going through. 🧔🏻‍♂️ *Lights pipe and leans forward*
