Depends on how attached people are to it. No amount of money is worth hurting someone over an heirloom. But if like my family, no one’s attached to anything. I’d use it as leverage for loans and determine if it’s going to gain in value over the years. If it will, I’ll keep it for a rainier day. It’s only an object, I’ll make it work for me.

Probably. I'm not close with my family. Ultimately would depend on what it was and if it was sentimental to me.
