I think it鈥檚 possible in the dysfunctional sense when someone doesn鈥檛 have a particularly strong bond with their offspring or the child has many issues that make sustaining a healthy bond challenging,
but in a non-dysfunctional scenario it鈥檚 better to recognize that these are different kinds of love that are very different dynamics. Love for one spouse and that kind of relationship you two have isn鈥檛 comparable to the love someone has for their child and the dynamics of that relationship.

I think some are regretful parents even resentful. So yes you can love your spouse more than your own children.

@Muthafukajones that would probably be me then which is one of the reasons why I'm not having kids. I'd probably love my spouse more and not care much for my kids.
