would you allow a homeless person at your house for thanksgiving ..?

I give money to charities, but honestly no. Plenty of those people have issues beyond simply not having a house.

That be a bit irresponsible toward my family, but you can volunteer at homeless shelters or many communities(pre-covid) held community free dinners, perhaps they still do ?passing out take away dinners?
If a person is on the street they usually have underling problems like substance abuse, severe mental illness, or unaware/refusing to access the many programs/charities aimed at helping them.
Not saying all are horrible people, just that they have complex problems that won't be solved by one Thanksgiving dinner invite to make myself feel like a better person.

No. If I don't know you, you don't come in my apartment, neighborhood is crazy, a guy got shot 5 doors down from me. Nothing against the homeless, but I gotta protect myself.

Honestly no I would not. I have good knowledge of the "homeless" community. They are among the most self centered and cruel people you will ever meet.

I have before 🤷🏻‍♀️ But I was familiar with them as a person.

No. I've had a bad experience with that kind of thing in the past
