My brother feels he is always in my shadow, regardless of what he does.
How do you deal with that?

I always try to toe the line. Problem is it's irrational. Doesn't matter what I give, he still feels inadequate. That's why I'm asking here. It's a crazy situation that doesn't make sense to most (including me)

@Vivaci this is a strategy we applied. Problem there is that he gets too fkd up and I have to take over for the day. I do as good as him or better, and now it's a whole issue. While I was just trying to cover for him. It's some deep illogical issue that I just can't figure out. I can't willingly do a bad job...

Next time don’t take over even if he f*cks up. Just let him keep on trying and let him be accountable for it.

When he realizes that you are not helping him he will like it in the beginning. Help him out once in a while. @Quickquestion

We just don’t talk as much. I have to find my own way and reason to be happy about my own life.
Achieve the things I wanna achieve and do the things I love.
If he’s young he will find himself.
On separate note you doing good for yourself don’t let it get you down.

@Carlisle that's reasonable though. In this case, dude is doing very well for himself. He really has a good life, but he's hung up on the fact that I'm doing slightly better now. It's some type of sibling rivalry I guess, but I was happy when he did better than me. I just don't get where he's coming from
