Unless you are a blood relative or part of the immediate adopting family it would be unwise to inform a person that they where adopted.. You would end up doing much harm..
never mind that.. how would you feel if your mother had you and all your siblings artificially but told you your dad was the person she was married to.. @Adstar but she told everyone else that she had all her kids artificially because her husband couldn't have kids .. would you want to know that you had some other unknown father (and possibly other siblings and family) out there??

@SStarfish Yes knowing the truth is good.. But my response is giving advice to someone who is not of the adopting family or the natural family.. It is best not to interfere..
ok, thank you .. @Adstar

I think they should be told but it may be painful..in other times though some parents were granted anonymity
there's someone i know who i think already suspects their parentage but their mom denied it to them but told everyone else otherwise.. and tho i dont know the unknown parent or if they are even alive (because they are older) i wondered if the now grown kid should know they have other family out there @bookerdana i also wonder about adopted kids sometimes and if its right or wrong to hide the true story of their origins from them.. on one had its sweet to treat them like your own child.. on another hand you are depriving them of the knowledge of an alt reality.. which may or may not be good.. so idk.. sorry im blabbing

@SStarfish I think they should know even if the mother doesn't want to know her child,at least she could try to contact siblings, cousins
no. they know their mother.. she just didnt tell them who their real father was.. idk if she even knew.. it just wasnt who she told them it was.. but she told us otherwise.. over and over but told them (her children) another story 😬 smh @bookerdana
