Absolutely. I did it before and it was everything I expected- I felt free, was independent, happy, and my life was amazing away from my toxic family.

Well I often wish I could live in the town home I grew up in.
The neighborhood is only about 6 miles from where I live.
But as far as city, I am okay with where I am.

Well I thought if I could have a fresh start maybe I could be happy. I am realizing now that was just foolish of me. Now I am about to have no home and no idea what I am going to do with myself. I can't escape myself 😞

@SW-User I know Im feeling bad for you right now. Is there anyone you could stay with till you sort things out?

I had that same thought, about 15 years ago.
At the time, I toyed with faking my own death, moving to a different country and assuming a new Identity.
After that, I thought better of it.

@Cutiepi23 Yeah, I'm okay, now.
I was a teenager, at the time I toyed with such ideas.
You know how teenage angst can be, right?

I moved, it was good at first, met new people... eventually I felt the need to move back... don’t live in my home town but I’m 30 minutes away now
I am happy right here. I was born a Tar Heel and I will die a Tar Heel.
@SheCallsMeCrushDaddy Tar heel?

I've thought about it. I'd love to live in the middle of nowhere with no neighbors close at all. There would need to be a lake nearby, though

I moved far away and cut communication and only then becane happier. Toxic people always put me down and tried to control me

Speaking in general, nature made us as Nomadic creatures to be moving about, not to be bound or stuck in a state. So we can design our society in a such a way where we keep moving and meeting newer people, and develop a liking for everyone.
That way each is independent and not having to rely on someone or something for too long.
