This heat is giving me nightmares

Earlier this week I dreamt that Pantera had been scared by something so bad she ran away from home and I couldn't find her for months. When I finally did she was at a shelter and someone else was filling out the adoption papers for her 😱



Last night I dreamt my sister told me she might be pregnant. That dream usually means someone close to me will die soon. When I woke up I couldn't find Pantera until I head her purr from the floor. She was resting there, glossy eyed. Luckilly it seems it's just too warm in bed for her. Bought a fan to cool us both off for the rest of this heat wave.
A few hours later I went to gmaws place for the weekly chores and was greeted by a locked door. As soon as I locked myself in (I have a key) I saw her slouched over in her chair. Luckilly she was just sleeping, but didn't wake up until I poked her.


Also, it's so warm one of the local stores is giving out free ice cream and popsicles to the customers. That's never happened before.
