Anyone else deal with this? [I Am a Lucid Dreamer]

So I am a lucid dreamer but my abilities seem to vary from dream to dream. In some dreams I am so powerful I can basically do absolutely anything. In others for some reason my powers do not work nearly as well. I have noticed recently that the more "awake" I am in the dream, the less my powers seem to work.

There are some powers I have that are very basic to me that pretty much always work like turning into my beast form and flying. (Though sometimes in dreams I will randomly only be able to fly like 6 feet above the ground)

I wonder why this is. Anyone else experience it?

I think it ebbs and flows. I stopped lucid dreaming for years but recently its coming back. Perhaps you can train your mind, or sink into it with more awareness? Do you wake before? Or go right into it?

@Paintedfox No probably 80% of my dreams are lucid. Maybe even more than that. It just happens naturally for me. I just pretty much always know when I'm dreaming.
