I Enjoy Solitude But Hate Loneliness

Humans: Machines of desire, that never stop wanting, and always want more. When you are in the same room with one for longer than eight hours, you realize that mutual contradiction of desires bring anger and fighting, and that peace are the moments of solitude away from them. Then fear creeps in of them being perhaps the only ones that would actually put up with us and care for our livelihood; so we get it together, breathe, and get back into the room. You went back because they distract you from the thoughts in your own head, and to laugh and talk, and avoid worse consequences than having to deal with them, by being entertained in the ways they please your senses momentarily. Even if to get their “good” side you have to wear a mask, nod your head, and criticize all that “those over there” do wrong, as if we were always in the right. But oh the pleasure of a good laugh, priceless.
