When did you learn or accept that you won’t be everyone’s cup of tea?

It was kind of hard for me to accept because I wanted to me liked I mean who doesn’t? Let’s be honest. I do accept it. Even if you didn’t do anything people will still not like you or be annoyed with you. End of story.

I learned it in middle school thanks to my peers who I just wanted to blend in with, but they made sure I didn’t. I didn’t accept it until I hit 40 when my fucks were diminished greatly.

{@dizzylizzy94] i think you may just have to accept the fact you cannot win them all . just the way of the world just be your real self you may get good results in the popularity stakes

After someone slapped me with a bass, I started to think it's better to be everyone's cup of milk instead of cup of tea since some tea might contains caffeine.

I really didnt grow into that until like 35 and by 40 I stopped caring what most think of me.
I rather always be only my cup of tea upto the level that I am able to enjoy.
