I was confronted by two people under complicated circumstances ...

I was trying to mail a package and there was a line of people waiting to do the same, I suppose. Before it became my turn, the person in front of me kept turning around to me to express how she hated waiting online, how busy she is, and that she has an appointment. I smiled because I had no idea what to say. She was wearing all black, had super-long fingernails, and a pretty large breast partially exposed from her top unbuttoned blouse. She couldn't seem to stop talking. It was difficult to navigate the interaction.

I was next and the guy at the counter asked me what I was trying to do, and he seemed a bit abrupt, so I didn't answer right away. He started tapping his finger on the counter and had an annoyed facial expression and I said I needed to mail "this package." He let out an audible sigh, took the package, weighed it, and asked me if I wanted to insure it. I said I wasn't sure, and he started tapping on the counter again, so I said, "no." He didn't seem friendly through the whole interaction and that threw me off.

Interaction with people under these kinds of circumstances can really be hard to navigate.

@FrogManSometimesLooksBothWays What you posted was generic, artificial, and plagiarized -- that may provide a temporary jolt of confidence in the short-term. But long-term though it can encourage a reliance on prepared remarks like a politician becoming too dependent on a teleprompter. That lingering "ChatGPT dynamic" deserves acknowledgement.
@MarkPaul What's a little plagiarism between friends?
