Would you be creeped out if a complete stranger texted your phone saying yellow how are you? Then you ask them do I know you and their response is

I don't really know what "creep... out" means but they annoy, not alarm, me.

They probably would not know my portable 'phone number because I do not use it very often and then only for voice calls and brief text messages. It's not linked to the internet.

Which government department, bank, credit card company or store do they work for. Your details are there, creepy.

I just assume it's someone I know, as it almost definitely is.

Possibly someone I know or job interview.
