@Strongtea alcoholism runs rampant in my family. I am not really much of a drinker. The last time I had an alcoholic beverage was June 2020. I can take it or leave it.

Yeah, I once beat up my girlfriend while drunk. I've never forgave myself for it, and it's one of many, many reasons I do not drink anymore.

Nah, I'm rather chill under alcohol. Happier, less anxious, more easygoing. Haven't really lost control of myself even when I got to the point of goint at the beach at 3am to vomit my soul out in peace lol

@Jamesy today the police can take pictures of you and match them against databases and find out who you were before you got a new identity in the french foreign legion. plus they can match up your DNA. your fingerprints. and track you by your hobbies and interests. they found a long-hidden mafia leader by his interests and hobbies decades later. when you get a driver's license now your picture is matched against the database to see if it matches with any others. that catches people that took a name off a graveyard of someone the right age to start a new identity. plus they greatly improved the database of dead people to make it that much harder to make a working indidenty from someone that died. plus if they get to check at the past you claimed and show them your picture the people at a school and workplace will tell the investigators that is not the person that went to school under that name. plus now they can look up pictures from jobs and schools online when they used to have to go through lots of file cabinets. so the french foreign legion getting you a new identity is a thing of the past. 🦃

Yup. Too many times. That's why I went to treatment, and haven't had a drink in four years. Trust me on this one: Alcohol isn't worth the agony it causes.
