@elyay2001 This is interesting, i'd thought the pfizer was better but i don't know much about the AstraZeneca. I'll have to look into it, thanks.
SirBenedictTheSecond · 22-25, M

Mikedewars · 70-79, M
I'm eligible but we don't have supply
marsbar · F
@Mikedewars I see.
Mikedewars · 70-79, M
@marsbar yeah New York is coming up short on supply. So I'm staying home and keeping clean that way
marsbar · F
@Mikedewars I think really high Covid states will have shortage issues.
OogieBoogie · F
Probably not.
My immune system spends most of its time on high alert...so no.

I've had both my COVID-19 vaccinations.
Over here over a quarter of the population has already been vaccinated.

@marsbar Israel
marsbar · F
Nomoretomorrow · 46-50, M
@BridgeOvertroubledWaters Fair play Israel have played a blinder with their vaccine rollout. 👍
SW-User
I’m not against those who want to take it. If you believe it’s safe then it’s your risk to take as it is mine for choosing not to have it. I’ve had bad experiences with other vaccines even in childhood, and there is no way I would trust any now and that’s why I choose to refuse.
marsbar · F
@SW-User That’s understandable.
SW-User
I’m not an anti vaxxer but I just don’t believe it should be mandatory.@marsbar
marsbar · F
@SW-User I get that. A lot of people feel that way.
nudistsueaz · 61-69, F
No plans for it here.
marsbar · F
@nudistsueaz Ok

Miram · 31-35, F
I am getting it on Feb, 20.
Classified · M
I don't like the ones using a new never used before technique and a super short testing time. Not going to take those.
marsbar · F
@Classified I know. It’s unsettling.
Classified · M
@marsbar I heard there is one which uses the regular technique and may be free of other objections I'd have. So I'm hoping for that one now. But testing time is still too short
marsbar · F
@Classified Yes, I agree.
MeowsoliniReturns · 51-55, F
I plan to. I was scheduled to get it on the 3rd, but I am moving and don't want to do so with a sore arm.
marsbar · F
@MeowsoliniReturns I understand.
SW-User
I'm pretty sure I have the antibodies to it already.
In my country of residence, there is no sight of vaccinations yet, lol. I'd prefer not to take it if I can avoid it.

marsbar · F
@SW-User Then you need not worry. 😇
SW-User
Yes definitely unless there's significant issues that deter even the medical community from taking it. I'll weigh it up against getting covid at my age with my health issues and pick which has the least risk.
marsbar · F
@SW-User That makes sense.
wildbill83 · 36-40, M
nope, nope
marsbar · F
@wildbill83 Ok billy
MrsKatherineArch · 41-45, F

Waiting on the J&J one since it uses the traditional dead/weakened virus instead of rNA or DNA technology.

Danerol · 31-35, M
So I refuse to take the first vaccine but due to work I have to take the vaccine when we get it in our country.
CestManan · 46-50, F
Not if I can avoid it.
I am low on the priority list anyways.
I am low on the priority list anyways.
Jeffrey53 · 51-55, M
I want a real doctor and go into a real doctor office to give me the vaccine. I’m not going to these stadiums and drive up to get the vaccine from a volunteer.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
Not yet, but getting it when my turn comes.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
No and I don’t intend to get it

Are you hot educator the students secretly want?
marsbar · F
@SirBenedictTheSecond Are you a teacher too?
SirBenedictTheSecond · 22-25, M
@marsbar if you are counting interns, yes. It’ll be weird teaching the ones I just saw in the hallways
marsbar · F
@SirBenedictTheSecond Well good luck with your teaching career. :)
TheSirfurryanimalWales · 61-69, M
They are currently doing the Seventy to seventy two year olds in my area.I’m 63 so it’s not far away.
Wales is somewhere we are probably going to have to prove we’ve been vaccinated to get into sporting events and concerts so I have decided I have no choice....

8:40 a.m. on February 4th: a "shot in the arm".
WorldTraveler19 · 31-35, M
Planning on it!
Nomoretomorrow · 46-50, M
Had both shots of the Pfizer jab as a care worker. Other than a sore muscle in my upper arm each time I've had no reactions, but, as covid has swept through the dementia unit I work in 3 times, and I've seen so many of our residents die and so many of my colleagues seriously ill (some in hospital and some still suffering with long covid) I'm glad I've had it, especially as older men working in care homes have a massively raised chance of dying, think at one point we were the group with the highest death rate when rated by job and age.
marsbar · F
@Nomoretomorrow Oh wow. Glad you got it.
