Just found out that I am supposed to buy the mother in law a Valentine's Day gift

Buddy said don't worry about it your wife will get it and put it on your credit card. Now I have to find her something to outshine her daughter.
Secretary said gimme your credit card and I'll take care of it. No, I'll do this one.

Money's short, times are hard ... so here's your "eff'n" Valentine's card .

A card with that on it is all you need ! 😉😂😂😂
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@TexChik She might deserve a big Thank You card for giving birth to the baby she raised that became his wife. Valentines traditionally hints at romance. creepy to give to in laws

Wow. I am not a fan of commercialized holidays and this is a great example of why
4meAndyou · F
My mother was part of the time period when valentines day cards, little tiny candies, or gifts were given to parents, friends, and even to grandparents and Aunts and Uncles. As a teacher, she used to buy the little cheap cards for her students. That's fine when it's a cheap little card...but I don't think people need to do that anymore.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@4meAndyou most wouldn’t bother to send a courtesy thank you card for any other type of gift during the rest of the year and I agree it’s outdated to spend money on this stuff. So much talk about not wasting resources through consumerism but the holiday commercialism keeps growing stronger

These new rules? Never heard this one before
