I always wanted to try stuffin muffins, which is basically just traditional stuffing baked in a muffin tray. I don't really care much for the taste of it, I just want an excuse to say 'stuffin muffins'

@TinyViolins nice lol, Ive not heard of those. Stuffing is my favorite side at Thanksgiving. (Although I like it during the year too).I'd prolly eat 5 stuffin muffins lol.

@Coralmist Well, that's because I made it up. I mean, it probably already existed out there somewhere, but the words popped into my head and I figured I'd roll with it.
To answer the question a bit more seriously, I heard an ad on the radio that Popeye's was doing Cajun spiced turkey and my mouth has been drooling ever since. That's something I'd think would be worth trying. Maybe even stuffing the turkey with wild rice would at least tie everything thematically.
Candied yams would probably make a good dessert option too.

@TinyViolins Ohh ok, well stuffin muffin has a nice ring 🍂 Cajun turkey ,wow. That would spice things up, no pun intended lol. Mm candied yams sound good. I have had sweet potatoes, very similar. I had sweet potato casserole last Thanksgiving and while I have tasted it a couple times, never had it at the holidays. Now thats ALL i want lol. And stuffing. I'll need to walk later that day for those calories but so worth it.

Won’t be making anything new....for us Thanksgiving is a time for the traditional, tried and true.

@Coralmist I wouldn’t have loved them, as I dislike all kinds of squash and gourds.

@DragonFruit This type you mix with nutmeg and spices and bit of sugar, so it had a delicious flavor.. not like plain squash.

@Coralmist I don’t like nutmeg or pumpkin spice either....I’ll stick to the traditional when it comes to Thanksgiving.

For thanksgiving I’m going make White Castle Stuffing. Delicious sliders. I have the recipe but I can’t recall how to make it.

Do you like oyster dressing? I do and I love to add minced jalapeño to it. Yum

Half the family are vegetarians and one has an egg allergy so it's tough to cook normal food.
