Ummmmm wtf is happening with the energy situation in Europe

I understand the resolve not to give into Russian demands, but why isn't all of Europe conserving energy like its in a war (because it is) and restarting all its nuclear plants? Looks more like nations are sleep walking into an energy crisis

With the latest price rise due in October my power cost has tripled in the last year, we are due another rise in January, I'ma shitting myself to be honest.

@plungesponge Yep! And that's without the January increase that could be equally as large, it really is scary, it won't just be the likes of me that's fucked, even those that earn a fair wage are going to seriously struggle.

Yes they are walking into an energy crisis.. I think if it goes really bad it will be because of the religion of anti-carbonism global warming.. Governments are filled with warmists fundamentalists who cannot contemplate reopening coal mines or giving licenses to search for Gas or open up known gas fields..

I have heard lots of people in Europe are buying wood burning heaters.. So now you will see a huge jump in demand for fire wood and people will be going out in their back yards and chopping down their trees trying to keep warm....
