7.0 Earthquake up north, tsunami warning for the California coast, even down here…

@bijouxbroussard Yes I have heard about the wildfires. We get the same in Western Canada. We did have some wildfires in Norther Ontario this summer but my area is mostly farms with little fuel. The worst we get is snowstorms or worse ice storms but they are not nearly as catastrophic as other diassasters.

@Rutterman Thank you, my friend. Both alarms came on my phone while I was cooking brunch. The first one was so loud and shrill I initially thought it was the fire alarm ! 😱

@Frostcloud Just that quickly, the tsunami threat has passed. Now the state is looking at aftershocks in the area. I’m glad your father is safe. 🙏🏽

@DownTheStreet Yes, almost within the hour we received a follow up alarm with an all clear. I was in another room when the initial alarm (really shrill) went off on my phone.
