The two people were willing to self sacrifice for something that is beyond themselves. A testament of how insignificant the self is when there is bigger cause to be served. Jesus did the same, hypothetically. We are all serving a cause, some just don't desire to be pawns for the rich no more.

Even if one disagrees with the method, if they had an ounce of sincerity, they would respect the principle. We live in world where people talk about compassion but don't understand its truth and don't have many values at all.

I saw some standing on blocks of ice with a noose around their neck in such a manner that if the ice melts the person would be hanged. I saw that there were a number people offering to bring heaters to speed up the melt.....
