I The Climate Is Changing

Whoever you are
You are right the climate is changing no one is taking it seriously either
I don't know why with all the weather extremes being reported from the world
I have given up trying to share my views about climate change with relatives and others
I just get shoved to side
The only reason I am responding to you is that I know we share common ground.
I am sitting on my living room sofa as I post this to you
I am at the same time looking out the window into my front yard and the trees.
The leaves are only about 1 inch in growth there are 2 tree species that are barely budding we have lived here for 30 years.
Until this spring by May 1st all the trees in my city by May 1st had fully developed leaves and the 2 tree species I earlier mentioned had fully grown leaves and giant fluffy white blossoms.
There is something wrong with world climate
No one wants to notice and no one wants to talk about it
What we should be worried about at this point is
What all these abnormal weather patterns is ultimately leading to in the future.
Thank you for caring enough to want to gather people together in discussion
I think climate change is the important concern of the 21st century.

The earth has been here a billion years. I think over a billion years, there's a pretty good chance temperatures will fluctuate over a 30 year period.

I'm totally in favor of taking care of our world and cleaning it up. But stop with the "global climate change" BS. How about just pointing out all the trash all over the place.

And yes... by "trash", I'm referring to Hollywood and Washington DC.

The climate is always changing

@eli1601 Yes but are accelerating a change as a speed that does not happen in nature and that might not have happened without that acceleration and it is going to impact our grandchildren in a negative way. Very selfish I think. It is irritating that people so ignorant of the actions of the climate cycle are deciding it is something we need to take action about. It is like asking a shoe repairman for a second opinion on a complicated brain surgery, they might have an opinion but that does not mean you should follow it.

The climate has been changing since the earth was formed and will continue to cycle and change as long as that big yellow thing in the sky continues to burn.

Yeah the world is ending, Al Gore and Barack Obama declared it. So all we have to do is get back to useless EPA regulations and start destroying our economy again and
annihilating the middle class. While China and the rest of the world do nothing. Good gawd, seek help.

The earth has been around for billions of years and has undergone ice ages and floods, all happened without human beings or factories around. Im sure it will happen again and the earth will adapt.

There is nothing we can do about it. So do what you think is best to help the planet. Then take all the hysteria and shove it where the sun don't shine. The Sun is the main factor when it comes to the climate, and we can't influence it. So live your life and stop promoting a self-fulfilling prophecy of doom. Nobody is listening anymore to the alarmists.

You enjoy being played for a sucker?

Yes it is changing and it is our fault and when we had a chance to do something about it we choose not to because the consequences were so far in the future from our perspective and we are waiting till the impacts become painful to us to finally agree with that is happening and of course it will be too late but the longer we wait the worse it is going to be.

Subsumedpat · 36-40, M
@SW-User Those natural cycles do not include our loading extra carbon
