@greensnacks And they show up ... maybe once a month or so? BUt can be for days at a time. Even in a small town I normally have too much light pollution but if you go out into the woods properly it's incredible.

@QueenOfTheNerds yea, Red rock is awesome, good hiking spots. As for Michigan, too bad I've never been but it looks real pretty.

@caPnAhab I love Michigan and have always lived here. Nevada was always pretty in October. Really nice weather. I only made it out to Red Rock once, and mostly stayed in the car. It was almost dark and the park ranger told us that after dark they go home and there’s zero phone reception out there. I did get a lot of sunset pictures, though.
