How can America's SCOTUS claim to be pro-life by overturning Roe vs Wade, when it's clearly not pro-life on Earth?

They think God will fix everything via the new heaven new earth verse. So they can destroy this one. Their sickness is literally a threat to all known life in the universe as we know it. No wonder only a God can forgive their sins. Because I'm certainly not going to forgive their evil.

They cannot claim not to be legislating, which is not their role.
@BackyardShaman That’s right. The GOP once objected vehemently to "activist justices" as they described the late Thurgood Marshall and Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Funny how they changed that tune.

@SumKindaMunster Look, I think we have some common ground here. Neither of us want to see wildfires. Neither of us want to see floods. Neither of us want to see increasing desertification. Neither of us want to see the inexorable rise of the tides. Neither of us want to see mass coral bleaching. Neither of us want to see plastic choking our waterways and our seabirds. Neither of us want to see oil spills setting fire to the oceans or polluting our waterways.

I could go on. But I think we could agree that under a Trump administration, most of this will be inevitable. Doubtless Trump has done some good things for his supporters that I don't know, or frankly care about. But what I think we both know is that he does not give two flying fucks about life on earth as we know it. This is frankly the ONLY thing I hate about Trump when all is said and done. I swear to you that if Trump was re-elected and put in place sensible progressive policies regarding massively ramping up renewable energy spending, slashing fossil fuel subsidies, massively boosting EV subsidies with associated infrastructure, and restructuring or even cancelling debt payments for third world countries, America and the world would be a better place and I would never trash Trump again. Fact.

We both want the same thing at the end of the day.🌍🌎🌏🌱

@SW-User Fair enough, and yes I will acknowledge this was a subject I wish Trump was more concerned about. If there was ONE thing I was glad Biden did, it was to re enter America into the Paris Accords. I firmly believe that America should fulfill its contracted agreements no matter what your political persuasion is.

@SumKindaMunster Fantastic. I will admit that you have made my day with your response 😊
It's still at war against life on earth, ain't nothing Murka will do about it.
Yet another instance of GOP hypocrisy…

Well, they haven't claimed to be pro-life

They made a ruling regarding the constitutionally of Roe vs Wade and decided defining a theory of life was not their job

It would have been interesting if they'd taken Roberts position

To not fully overturn Roe vs Wade but uphold the Tennessee 15 week limit

Or if they had tried to answer the epistemological and existential questions of life

I think we would've liked their ruling even less because that could've led to overturning liberal abortion laws across the country

@SW-User True, although in this case I'm talking about their ruling to limit America's EPA's power to reduce emissions
SW-User
@SW-User yeah I haven't studied that but it doesn't sound great
