no, even my worst enemies I only wish them to grow and become better people and not do to others what they did to me. if I was stuck thinking about the people of the past who did me wrong I would be wasting time that i could use to enjoy the present moment. I actually use a voodoo doll analogy when explaining why anger and resentment is not good. anger is like using your own body as a voodoo doll, thinking that is you feel hatred the other will suffer but really the only person suffering when we carry anger is ourselves. the first reason to forgive is to free yourself.
