Nice that you saved a lot. I leave many things on standby, but not high powered things like washer. Only stuff like the tv, my desktop, laptop, stereo, game console

@Fluffybull not heard of any faults on them think we will all have them soon the electric company’s can make all the meter readers redundant ,, like self service check out thats to get rid of staff !

@Barny52 I read our meter and email the figures every quarter. They do send people to read meters from some contracted company every so often but apparently that's to check customers haven't been lying on their readings ....😉
