What’s wrong with this picture? Read below

Just say “got it” if you know or “don’t got it” if you don’t?

Just for laughs sake.

Got it - over-excited luggage

If you didn't get the 'joke' don't read any further.

Over the years I must have owned & rebuilt near a dozen of those. The first - 1962 - was the only one I could afford to buy new. Loved & sometimes hated them. I never met the kerosene heater but I well remember both the useless exhaust one and the gasoline one that would occasionally explode without bursting, but with a mighty bang. This was a go-anywhere car; amazing for 2 wheel drive. It was fun to leave other makes stuck in the snow & mud. On ice I learned that you could ease the handbrake on, partly transferring drive from the wheel that was spinning, and crawl very slowly away.

@MasterDvdC what year ?
MasterDvdC · 61-69, M
@AthrillatheHunt It was while I was in college. So mid to late 1970's
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M

MrAboo · 36-40, M

MasterLee · 56-60, M
Umm got it.
Funtoy4u · 61-69, M
Older Beetles had a Kerosene heater in the front that actually worked pretty good. They then switched to a gasoline heater in front before changing to an exhaust warming system that was horrible.

Where's the designer of the VW Bug? I think his initials were AH
Slade · 56-60, M
@AthrillatheHunt Nah. Mercedes were already around and retrofitted for military use. 'dolph H started the bug with a crude drawing for a utilitarian vehicle for young master race families.👍
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@Slade I don’t doubt you anymore .
Slade · 56-60, M
@AthrillatheHunt either Mercedes, BMW or both also had a hand in building the mass crematoriums for 'dolph's boys too.

I think Porsche stuck with building tanks
Pinknwet · 51-55, F
Well if that is supposed to be steam there is a lot wrong with the pic. The bug has a air cooled, “no water ” engine and it’s in the back not front.

Got it. But it could be a valid picture if the car was built before 1955. I will explain if curious.

Nothing at all. It's an advert for the patented Frunk Kettle.

Got it. I had an old Bug when I was in college -- many, many, many years ago.
Muthafukajones · 46-50, M
Volkswagen Beetle engines are located at the rear of the vehicle.
Got it! Backwards!

That heater never worked right. Mine only worked in the shop when it was warm.
