Two nickels.
On my walk today I stopped in one of the shops. As I was looking around these two women were looking at greeting cards as their two children (who looked to be around 5 years of age) were milling about.
The weather permitted short sleeves. Pointing to her friend one of the children tapped her mother’s legs and said “mommy Claire has nickels too!” I didn’t think anything about it until one of the ladies said “she’s in that discovery phase” and as they passed the discoverer looked at my chest and pointed “boys have nickels too”.
Obviously I didn’t say anything but silently I howled.
I have two nickels.
Children can be unintentionally hilarious.
