Don't you think intelligence is preferable in a person?

@Mamapolo2016 Not quite. We do have differences in natural ability, but the brain is highly plastic. Intelligence is a combination of myriad micro skills. These can be learned and get better in direct proportion to how frequently and consistently they are practiced, exactly in the same way that the body changes according to how it is used (or abused).

@CookieCrumbs Agreed. Emotional intelligence is the key. The other forms are valuable to the whole of society, but EI is essential to good communications and relationships.
