That's actually a bit bigger than a normal wolf. They are big, yet not quite that big. A wolf can easily knock a large man down. Yet it's only at max 125 pounds. That's a maximum for most wolves.

Now there is one exception yet its the only known exception for a certain species of Alaskain grey type of wolf at 175 pounds.

@TryingtoLava I’m pretty sure you can’t own a full wolf. But I’m not sure if the law has changed about hybrids.

@TryingtoLava Agreed. Ohio was once a state where people had all kinds of exotic pets, and in about 2011 (I think) A guy who owned a private zoo with lions, bears, tigers, all kinds of dangerous animals, released 50 of them all into his neighborhood and then committed suicide.
I remember we were talking about it on EP and someone said they lived near the area. Everyone was on high alert, told to stay inside, keep pets inside, bolt all doors and windows. And the police had the awful task of having to hunt down kill those animals—tranquilizers were not slowing them down, reportedly. Ohio changed some of their "exotic pet" laws after that.
