Teacher locked student up?

I don't know the context or how long this lasted, but supposedly a teacher locked one of her middle school students in a closet, and told the other students to not unlock it.

Most middle school students need to be locked up occasionally

That’s someone who shouldn’t be teaching. I tried to find more info on it, and discovered a few stories of teachers locking up kids, from a DC teacher to a teacher who locked up a kindergartner in Memphis. Unbelievable.
