Too bad these things are taken out of context and most narcissists will only see that they are a victim. It's not an excuse, and once it gets pointed out you need to take a look at yourself and work on things. Unfortunately, narcissism prevents this in almost all people, and thus the cycle continues.

True. At first it’s really maddening, but it’s more sad than anything. It’s just how they’re wired, there’s nothing anyone can really do. Even if at first it seems they’ve had some sudden realization and “changed” their behavior, it isn’t long before they fall back into their cycle again. @raysam363
