Don’t you dislike uncles and cousins?

@DarkSideoftheMoon It sucks that uncles can be such jackasses. My uncles expect us to kiss their asses when they try their best to show us that they dislike us. It’s just painful seeing them because they are soo cruel. Unfortunately, many people have hateful uncles and cousins. My cousins are all hateful snobs that don’t even bother messaging me on holidays. I just can’t stand them.

@SW-User i made the decision lomg ago to separate myself from them and i qm so much happier. Holidays are small but i enjoy them more.

Good decision. I try to avoid them as much as I can but sometimes family issues cause us to talk to them. Oh well, as long as you don’t let them affect you too much then you’ll be fine. @DarkSideoftheMoon

@SW-User my mom gets really upset because her sister is so distant. We only get invited around for special occasions and maybe Christmas but throughout the year she doesnt speak to my mom qnd ignores my moms efferts to see her. My mom rips herself apart trying to understand why. Its painful to watch and regardless how much my aunt rejected her she still keeps trying. 💔

Omg, my relatives are the same way. My uncle and his wife won’t let us go drink coffee at their house once a year but my uncle comes to our homes and talks loudly for hours giving us a headache. It seems like many people don’t respect their family anymore. It’s just sad that people do that to each other. Maybe your aunt is secretly jealous of your mother and that’s why she keeps a distance. @DarkSideoftheMoon

@SW-User yeah idk. My mom says family should stick together no matter what and even if theyre toxic and hurt you theyre still family and you have to get over it or try to not be so sensitive. People say things they dont mean. I completely disagree with this but shes hellbent on it. My aunt never said what her issue was so noone knows.

They are more respectful to strangers than their own flesh and blood. It’s sad that family can be the enemy when it should be the opposite. Tell your mother not to get upset . Some people just like to distance themselves from others. Your mom sounds like she has a good heart and not everyone will be like her. Most people are cold blooded and cruel. @DarkSideoftheMoon
